Back in early October 2023, the Working Group on Amendments to the International Health Regulations (WGIHR) met for the fifth time.
They are supposed to have an agreed package of proposed amendments by January 2024 but now realise that time is running out. Instead of postponing the deadline to allow negotiations to continue, they have broken their own rules as you will see when you read this template letter. The World Health Organization appears to have breached international law.
