Following 116,000 signatures to e-petition 635904, the proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations were finally debated in Parliament on 18th December 2023.
Unfortunately, this was too late to have any impact on the incorporation of the amendments agreed at the World Health Assembly in May 2022 but still vitally important as the proposed amendments agreed at the World Health Assembly in May 2023 could see unprecedented powers handed over to the World Health Organisation.
