The World Health Organisation is meeting once again in Geneva, Switzerland.
In fact, July is quite a busy month. Between 17th – 21st July, there will be the Sixth Meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) for a WHO Instrument on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response (Bureau’s Text of the WHO CA+). The following week we can expect the Fourth Meeting of the Working Group on amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005) (WGIHR) and, sandwiched between the two (21st – 24th July), is the Joint Plenary Meeting of the INB and the WGIHR.
Although these are significant meetings for the future of the UK, little has been reported in the press. Do the MPs really know what’s going on? Send this email to your MP and find out and perhaps copy in your local newspaper too.
